Menopause Study
 
Hot Flashes

Study Description
This research study is to compare the effectiveness and safety of 3 doses of an investigational soy-based product versus a placebo (an inactive look alike substance) for hot flashes. Study involvement requires 7 study visits over approximately 14 weeks.
 
Study Requirements
You must be:

• 

A postmenopausal woman

• 

Having frequent hot flashes or night sweats
 

You should not participate if:

• 

you are taking estrogen, androgens, progestin or supplements shown to improve/treat hot flashes in the previous 8 weeks

• 

diagnosis of breast cancer, cancer of the uterus or some other cancer
